Max Verstappen voted Driver of the Day after P2 on a wet Hungaroring

Max Verstappen has been voted ‘Driver of the Day’ for the first time this season due to his very strong race in Hungary. During the Hungarian Grand Prix, fans worldwide casted their votes of which the Dutchman ultimately amassed the most.

The quick Dutchman started the race from seventh and managed to move up to second place on the wet circuit. Despite the pressure from the fast approaching Valtteri Bottas, Max retained his position till the end. His racing style and fighting spirit were awarded by the fans with the title ‘Driver of the Day’.
