Published on 25 August 2020 by Mike Motilall

The final four Grands Prix of the 2020 season have been officially confirmed. This Formula 1-season will have a total of seventeen races: the Turkish Grand Prix, two races on the Bahrain International Circuit and the season’s finale in Abu Dhabi.

The race on Istanbul Park is one of the five circuits that have been added to the modified 2020 race calendar due to Covid-19. Mugello, the Nürburgring, Portimao and Imola had already been confirmed in an earlier stage.

The Turkish Grand Prix, which was on the race calendar from 2005 through 2011, will now take place from 13-15 November. The season finishes with a triple header in the Middle-East. Two races will be driven in Bahrain, on November 29th and December 6th, before the season’s finale gets underway in Abu Dhabi on December 13th. Closing the season two weeks later than originally planned.
